How does the tap start and stop the water?

An infrared sensor in the spout starts the flow as soon as your hands are underneath it, and stops it again when you take them away. The tap is never touched, so there is no lever to operate and no handle to clean.

Does this tap need an electrical connection?

Yes. The sensor runs on a mains AC power supply, so a power point has to be available at the basin. Plan the electrical connection together with the water connection before installation.

How is the tap installed?

It is deck mounted: the tap sits on the basin or the countertop and is fixed through the existing tap hole from below. No wall opening and no concealed body are needed.

Which finishes does this tap come in?

How do I look after a brushed finish?

Wipe the surface with a soft cloth and clear water, then dry it off. Do not use abrasive, acidic or chlorine-based cleaners and never use a scouring pad - they leave permanent marks on a brushed surface.
